The Fire ’96 will soon lose our two ‘95 players to 14U. We will be holding individual tryouts for an experienced pitcher, catcher and/or middle infielder during the next two weeks. We are a Fastpitch team made up of eight, ‘96 girls and one '97 girl, from all over the SC Midlands area. We alternate practice locations throughout the Cola area to help balance out the fuel/costs for our families. We consider “Commitment” in addition to skill when adding players and families to our team.
The team is fresh off of an exciting 3rd place finish in our last tournament. We are considering 2-3 more tourneys for Fall 08 and would like to bring on players that can help us continue this success in October, and into 2009. The Scotland Heat 10U team is having tryouts for our 2009 season Saturday, Oct. 4 at 10:00am at Optimist Park in Laurinburg, NC. All girls must have birthdates in 1998 or 1999. Anyone interested in the tryouts should be at the park by 9:45 on the date above. All participants for the tryouts should be accompanied by a parent to fill out a registration form. All girls should bring their gloves, bats, batting helmets and appropriate footwear. Accomplishments for our 2008 first year group include several runner up finishes, a 4th place finish at the NC NSA B State Tournament and champions of the NC ISA State Tournament. Our coaching staff focuses on teaching the fundamentals, commitment and team work.
The Carolina Bulldogs 10U Fastpitch Softball Team based in Anderson County is starting to build the team for the
2009 Travel Season. We are looking for players that are dedicated and willing to work hard to take their skills to the
next level. We will be playing in tournaments around Upstate SC in the spring/summer season of 2009. Open tryouts
will be held on October 4, 2008 / 1:00 p.m. at the Moorhead Softball Field, on Ashley Road, Anderson, SC. If you

The Southern Slamz 14U has an opening for the 2009 season. We are located in the upstate of Spartanburg County, SC. We are a second year 14U team that

16U Showcase team seeks Pitcher for the Fall. The
16U team will be coached by Amanda Noble, a 4 year
standout pitcher from Charleston Southern University. Not only does
Coach Nobel bring a wealth of softball expertise, but she is an
extremely positive role model for female athletes. Pitchers that can
play positions other than pitcher will not simply sit the bench "just
because" they pitch. Possible move to 18U if pitching needs can be
addressed.
